Heinz Zemanek Preis 2022

I received theHeinz Zemanek Award for mydissertation. The prize is awarded every second year by theAustrian Computer Society (OCG) and recognizes an outstanding dissertation in the area of computer science. All universities in Austria are entitled to propose two candidates. This year 15 candidates were proposed by their universities. Five candidates were invited to a personal hearing at the OCG in Vienna, where the jury decided to split the prize and choose two winners:Stefan Neumann and myself. The (split) Heinz Zemanek award is accompanied with € 3,500 in prize money.

The award ceremony took place on May 20, 2022 as part of the Austrian Computer Science Day 2022:
